For decades, I’ve maintained a drawing practice—a shifting sequence of meditation, writing, and sketching that expands or contracts with whatever time and space life allows. My sketchbooks come in many shapes and sizes, interwoven with lists, notes, and ephemera, and they fill bookcases and boxes as a kind of creative chronicle.
